Daniela Poletti was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1985.

After working in a variety of fields, including commercial law, property, criminal and environmental law, Daniela has focussed almost exclusively in the field of Family Law for more than 12 years.

Daniela has considerable expertise in all aspects of Family Law. The depth and breadth of her experience ensures that she has a sound understanding of legal issues that might impact on family law matters, and that she is able to resolve complex financial and business-related family law matters, quickly and effectively. In most situations, she attempts to resolve matters without the intervention of the Court, however when required, Daniela is also a competent and very experienced litigator who can successfully represent clients’ interests.

Daniela enjoys the personal side of family law and helping clients through what is often a very difficult and emotional time. Her “hands-on” style, and approachable nature, ensures that she is familiar with all aspects of a case and she is willing and able to provide clear, practical advice to clients at any time.

In 1996, Daniela became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law. She is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a trained mediator and a member of the Western Sydney Collaborative Family Lawyers network.

Shannon Rogers

Shannon Rogers is a Senior Associate with Selvaggio Lawyers. He began working with the firm as a law clerk, even before completing his degree, and has subsequently gained experience in all aspects of the firm’s work.  He graduated with Honours in Law and progressed to the level of Senior Associate with the firm in 2008.

Shannon has a particular interest in advocacy work and representing Family Law clients in Court, particularly when there are children’s issues or domestic violence factors involved. His level of compassion and understanding, and the fact that he is both approachable and accessible, ensures clients (both adults and children) are comfortable dealing with him and that they are kept fully informed of developments in their case.

While working for Selvaggios, Shannon has successfully resolved a number of complex property settlements and family law matters involving trusts, family businesses and third parties.  His attention to detail and ability to quickly understand the complexities of a matter have allowed him to resolve issues quickly and effectively on behalf of clients.

Kim Alderton

Para-legal and Administrative Support

Kim Alderton has been with Selvaggio Lawyers for more than 10 years, and has worked in legal services for almost 30 years. Over that time she has gained considerable experience in the field of Family Law and enjoys helping and supporting clients through what can be a very difficult time in their lives.

Kim is involved in the preparation of various documents for the Family Courts, liaising with our clients and dealing with other relevant experts, such as accountants, barristers and counsellors, who may be called upon during family law proceedings. Kim maintains discretion and integrity throughout all of her duties, and is a valuable member of the Family Law team.
