Ross Selvaggio was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1981. After starting work in Melbourne, Ross moved to Sydney in 1985 to join a leading city and suburban law firm and became an Accredited Specialist in Property Law.

In 1991 Ross established Selvaggio Lawyers, after recognising the need for a progressive, boutique-style law firm to service businesses and individuals in the north western region of Sydney. After living and working in the area for over 15 years, Ross has established a loyal client base of businesses and individuals who rely on his practical and pragmatic advice.

Renowned for being a good communicator and providing sound, cost effective advice, Ross is also a highly skilled and experienced lawyer who remains very approachable and easy to work with.

Wherever possible Ross looks “outside the square” and offers advice from a holistic perspective, rather than simply a legal opinion. Drawing upon his broad experience as a lawyer and businessperson, his ultimate aim is to ensure that clients are receiving the best advice for their particular situation, in a timely manner.

Gillian Leahy

Gillian Leahy completed her Law degree in 2007 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2008.

Since joining Selvaggio Lawyers, initially as a law clerk, Gillian has gained valuable experience in a wide variety of areas.  Following her admission, she has primarily worked on matters in the property and commercial law field including: sales and purchases of residential property; sales and purchases of commercial property, particularly within the Norwest area; sales and purchases of businesses; retail and commercial leases; and commercial litigation.  In addition, Gillian has also handled a number of debt recovery and employment law matters on behalf of our commercial clients and has assisted the Family Law and Wills Team with numerous aspects of court work, property related matters and probate matters.

Gillian particularly enjoys working closely with clients to resolve their legal matters and guiding them through the many legal processes involved in business and property transactions.

Raelene Price

Para-legal (conveyancing) and Administrative Support

Raelene Price has been with Selvaggio Lawyers for more than 12 years. With over 30 years’ experience in legal services, Raelene provides invaluable support to the property and commercial law team. She has assisted with numerous property development transactions within the Norwest Business Park, as well as the preparation of various commercial documents, leases and residential and commercial property matters.

Raelene is a professional, highly-experienced conveyancing para-legal and the first point of contact for many of the firm’s property clients.

Donna Tolkien

Accounts Department

Donna Tolkien has worked in the legal services industry for more than 20 years. During that time she has held office management, accounts and administrative roles with a number of legal practices.

Donna’s role overseeing the accounts function at Selvaggio Lawyers requires her to liaise with clients in respect to their billing and account queries and our clients find her both approachable and easy to deal with, regardless of the issue. She is particularly efficient and accurate, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills, as well as being very ethical and fair in her approach.
