In addition to her work as Family Lawyer, Daniela Poletti helps clients with a variety of matters in the field of Wills and Estates law for 20 years.

In keeping with Daniela’s extensive knowledge of and experience in litigation, she represents her clients in disputed Wills matters in the Supreme Court, as well as acting for Estates in protecting the estate from such claims.

Daniela’s attention to detail and understanding of complex financial situations allows her to develop a thorough and accurate analysis of her clients’ issues s then provide sound practical and legal advice.  Her friendly and approachable manner puts clients at ease and helps them to deal with what can be a difficult subject matter.

Gillian Leahy

Since joining Selvaggio Lawyers, Gillian Leahy has practiced in a variety of areas including property law, commercial law, employment law and Wills and Estates.

Gillian particularly enjoys working closely with clients to resolve their legal matters in the most efficient way possible, and guiding them through the many legal processes involved in both their personal and business transactions. 

She has worked with numerous clients on matters relating to Wills and Estates and often assists in obtaining a Grant of Probate following the death of a loved one.  Gillian is highly organised and competent, ensuring these matters are progressed as quickly as possible on behalf of the client.  She also enjoys providing advice on the preparation of Wills and other related matters, such as Powers of Attorney or Enduring Guardianship appointments that are often required for the elderly and infirm, as well as Retirement Village purchases.

Gillian’s attention to detail and easy, approachable manner ensure clients receive the best possible assistance in this area and feel comfortable dealing with the firm.

Kim Alderton has been with Selvaggio Lawyers for more than 10 years, and has worked in legal services for almost 30 years. Primarily responsible for supporting Partner Daniela Poletti, Kim currently works across the fields of Family Law and Wills & Estates Law.

Kim has considerable experience dealing with a wide variety of clients on wills and estate matters. She provides administrative support in the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship, as well as issues dealing with Probate and Estate disputes. Clients find Kim easy to deal with and very understanding, as well as being a professional who takes pride in the quality of her work – particularly when drafting legal documents.
